Two recent coloured passport-size photos
Current immigration status, if you are in Kenya
Valid organization Tax Compliance Certificate (new cases), or organization and individual certificates (renewals)

Paid to Millennia

Facilitation fee of KES 500,000 for all work permits. Includes KRA tax registration, bank account opening, Alien card, biometrics and printing, and the security bond service.

Paid to the government

Issuance fee per year, by class, payable on approval to the State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services.

EAC citizens (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi) are exempt from permit processing and issuance fees. All documents must be in English or officially translated. Government fees as gazetted in November 2023; see the full fee list.
